Enactus Okanagan (formerly SIFE Okanagan)

Enactus Okanagan College is a non-profit student organization operated out of the Okanagan College campuses in Kelowna, Vernon, Penticton and Salmon Arm. Collectively there are over 100 students involved with Enactus OC, working on 10+ projects throughout our local community to create a positive social, economic and environmental impact. Enactus Okanagan College aims to make a difference by seeing possibilities, taking action, and enabling progress throughout the valley.

Through community and campus partnerships and support, Enactus Okanagan College develops and implements projects that satisfy the needs of our region, projects that support entrepreneurial activity, educate at risk individuals, promote our agricultural community, and more. Over the years Enactus Okanagan College has grown to be nationally acclaimed and revered in the community.

Enactus teams compete on the basis of the quality of their outreach projects against other teams on a regional, national and an international level and Enactus OC consistently performs well against other colleges and universities across the country.

The quality and reach of the projects has increased tremendously; over the past eight years, Enactus Okanagan College has created economic impact of over $800,000, given financial education to an array of demographics and continued to address the current needs within our community. Enactus OC is the only team in Canada that operates in four different cities, directly impacting over 10 different communities.
